DAN OXYGEN PROVIDER

The Divers Alert Network (DAN) Oxygen Provider Course is designed to train divers and other interested individuals in the administration of emergency oxygen. Oxygen is the first aid treatment of choice when almost any diving injury occurs. In the past, deaths have been prevented and numerous injuries, including AGE and DCS, made less severe when O2 has been supplied to an ailing diver. The Oxygen provider course provides training in the equipment and techniques of oxygen administration. It also teaches how to recognize dive related injuries and activate local emergency services. It is a good program for novices and experienced divers alike, and an excellent addition to any dive rescue course.
