DECOMPRESSION TECHNIQUES
Decompression Techniques provides the diver with a working knowledge of the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. Students plan and conduct standard stage decompression dives. Emphasis is on equipment requirements and configurations, decompression breathing gas mixtures, and decompression techniques including omitted decompression. Contingency dive planning and problem solving situations are also included. (This course may be combined with Technical EANx, or Extended Range)
Prerequisites
Minimum certification is NAUI Master Scuba Diver and Deep Diver or equivalent and Technical EANx. Provide proof of 100 logged dives.

Equipment
Student provides basic gear w/depth gauge and watch, or computer, compass, dive tool, emergency signaling device, slate, cylinders equipped with dual outlet valve or isolation manifold, oxygen service deco cylinder labeled for the appropriate depth, primary and redundant regulators, oxygen service deco regulator with SPG and mouthpiece covering device, 50 lb lift bag, and cave reel.
